Founded in 1986, Justice Alternative Suroît is a community based, non-profit, which was established with a view to intervene in an original way with young people aged 12 to 17 who are dealing with the law.Initially, the approach was to ask these young people to participate in community work to repair the damage done symbolically and in the spirit of the Young Offenders Act (Act system of youth justice since April 2003) and the code of criminal procedures.
