Played this little gem of a nine holer on September 16th 2016...surprising how lush the fairways were considering the summer we've had and the greens were in impeccable condition...some of the holes made you stop and just take in the beauty before you could put a peg in the ground...as nice a golf course as I've played in years!!...Bravo....coming back soon!

Golf Architect David L Moote, designer of Golf Digest's 2004 Best New Course in Canada (The Rock, Muskoka, ON), has considered every design aspect of the landscape to provide enjoyment for guests of all golfing abilities. Mr. Moote has respectfully retained the character of the Larmer family farm while sculpting exciting course features. Rolling fairways plus classic time period Stanley Thompson/Donald Ross-esque greens and bunkers reflect a Highland or Big Sky flavour interspersed with holes meandering through established woodlot, naturalized areas and along the picturesque Baxter Creek. Course design, construction and on-going operations reflect a commitment to the highest standards of Environmental Responsibility.
Roxburgh Glen Golf Club is a convenient, public 9-hole golf course located just north of Cobourg on Highway 45. Roxburgh Glen Golf Club is readily accessible from the 401 and is a short trip from downtown Cobourg, Port Hope, Peterborough, Grafton, Oshawa, Darlington and many other Ontario lakeside communities. In the fall of 2007, Roxburgh Glen Golf Club took the place of the Larchmere Restaurant and Golf Club. The new name reflected the new ownership by long-time Cobourg resident and golf-lover, Robert Whitelaw and his son and co-owner, Bill Whitelaw.
This set of golf courses, the Highland and the Glen, is situated in the beautiful Oak Hills near Stirling, Ontario. At Oak Hills there is something to interest and challenge golfers of all abilities.Both courses are full 18 holes.The Highland fairways are hilly, featuring challenging and undulating lies, while the tighter fairways of the Glen test your accuracy.
We are a scenic 12 hole golf course designed to attract seniors, family, couples and those who prefer walking while playing a leisurely game of golf. We are unique in that our challenging layout of 12 holes with a Par of 47 requires players to concentrate on their short game. Great for seniors who choose not to play the longer courses and nine holes is not enough. Tee time should be booked ahead to avoid long waiting for tournaments or league play.
