Welcome to the PineRidge Equine Park website. This equine event centre and training facility is located just outside of the city of Winnipeg, Manitob,a in the heart of the Continent. From east to west, this is quite literally in the middle of Canada. Going North to South; we re just above the 49th parallel putting us halfway between the North Pole and the Equator or 900 miles straight north of Oklahoma city. Just northeast of Winnipeg is prime horse country. PineRidge Equine Park is just 15 minutes from the city with shops and hotels and 10 minutes from the town of Oakbank with some great restaurants in the area.PineRidge Equine Park has been a dream come true for Gerry and Irene, who, in the early 70's, started farming in Alberta with cattle, sheep and quarter horses. Twenty years ago they moved to Manitoba and settled in Springfield County where they bought 10 acres and 3 mares. They bred these fine mares to champions like Brenna's Kid, Tejohn's Peppy Doc, Arc Matt O'Lena and Gallo Del Cielo.In the fall of 2001, they found the perfect location for an equine centre.
Ashley Buss started teaching in 2002 and opened Grand Oak Meadows Stables in Winnipeg 2008. Ashley has been riding for more than 20 years. And works to share her techniques through her children and adult classes.
