The Green Room is the kind of place that you can't help but love. Although no longer much of a secret, it is still a fantastic atmosphere. With eclectic selection of books, art, and music playing, The Green Room draws students, artists and T. O intelligentsia in like a magnet. Veggie friendly and very affordable.
This crowded taco joint is a mecca for penny-pinching students wishing to trade in another KD dinner for baja fish, chicken with mole rijo and ceviche tostados (which, famously, routinely sell out by 3pm). The menu, posted daily on the restaurant's Twitter feed, is heavy on the inventive Mexican and light on the pocketbook (individual dishes hover in the $4-$7 range).
