Named after the Bimini Islands in the Bahamas, Bimini's first opened its doors in 1974 after being granted the Province's first Neighborhood Pub license. The busy bar was quickly embraced by the post Summer of Love-era hippie locals; environmental agency Greenpeace's head office was across the street, and many of their radical plots were hatched in strategy meetings over pints at Bim's.

In 1995 Speed's Neighbourhood Pub first opened, and in no time became a local favourite to relax and enjoy a cold pint and some great food. Most known for our excellent Fish and Chips, which you can choose from either Cod or Halibut, and of course our home cut fries.
