We have come every year in December from Hamilton to Simcoe to see the Christmas lights. We stop at the Barrel Restaurant first, and it is a highlight of our trip: excellent food, excellent atmosphere. There is a very large menu, so I know people can order what they want and sometimes get something different from what they want. Suffice to say that I find the Penne Capri on par with meals served in Italy, and my husband and in-laws refuse to order anything other than the lasagna because they enjoy it so much every time. I had the best bread pudding that I have ever experienced in my life one afternoon at Erlind's, Their Chinese food is very good and not too expensive. The only thing that might bother some people is that you can smoke there. Other than that it is great.

I love this place, I usually get the corn soup and scone but have also had breakfast here.
The food and service is always good, never had a bad meal here yet. And as one of those evil smokers it's nice to still be able to smoke in here, even though I rarely do.

Been looking for good wings for years, this one did it. Best wings I’ve had in a long time.
Have been driving to 2nd Sandbar in Turkey Point, which was my favourite. This ones an hour closer to me too. Oh yeah my husband really enjoy his wrap and fries.
