There aren't many places in the area where one can get fish & chips, unless they drive to Barrie and go to Fancies Fish & Chips. Blue Water Fish & Chips is a small restaurant with a tired decor. Mind you there are historical photos of boats that have travelled Georgian Bay & the Great Lakes and are interesting to look at..
We love the halibut served here. While the portion size is small it is extremely tasty, with mild tasting halibut and a golden batter. After the second or third bite you can taste & feel the grease but isn't that to be expected with deep fried fish? I've never eaten fish & chips that I haven't tasted the grease.
We hate it when the restaurant is closed for vacation. We love eating here and they even have lots of newspapers and reading material for those of us that prefer to read while we're eating.
All we've ever ordered has been the fish & small chips or else we'll order 2 fish and a small chip each and we never go away hungry.

Best Chinese food and Fish & Chips restaurant in town! Really friendly service and delicious food! There are special offers in the restaurant: breakfast buffet on Saturday & Sunday from 8am-12pm for $6.99 per person. And dinner buffet is from Friday to Sunday from 5pm to 8pm, adult $12 and child $10. There are lunch special as well (two set combo selections for you to pick) limited time offer from 11am-3pm for $6.99! Strongly recommend this place to you all!

We look forward to visiting Red Lobster. We love it there. When we go it is always packed. But we figure it is worth the wait.

My hubby and I decided last minute to grab a bite to eat, I had the steak on a bun with onions and fries and he had a bacon cheeseburger & we had battered veggies...again it was excellent, we were stuffed before we cleaned off our plates - it's so nice to have dinner out and get lots of food at such low prices! This is the greatest Fish & Chips I have ever had. I lived in Shelburne and would go down to Orangeville just to eat here. I am actually going to stop in tonight an eat there. Everything I have tried here is so good, I think its because of how often they change the oil and quality of food <3 LOVE IT :)
