Goodwill's core mission has always been to enable work opportunities and provide skills development for people facing barriers to employment, including people with disabilities, youth, the chronically unemployed, and newcomers to Canada.. As a leading social enterprise, Goodwill's mission is fulfilled through the collection and sale of donated goods in communities across Ontario. For over 50 years, Brameast Family Health Organization has been one of our community’s largest health care providers, offering palliative care for Brampton area patients in their homes, as well as supportive care to our patients admitted to Brampton Civic Hospital. Our caring team includes 13 family physicians, an advanced care palliative nurse, clinic registered nurses and a fully trained administrative support staff to provide comprehensive care to over 12,000 patients. We’ve also been teaching family medicine residents with McMaster University since the Family Medicine Teaching Center (FMTC) started in Brampton in 2008.
