Consistently impressive Indian buffet. Always fresh and fantastic. My grandmother lives close by and we always go out to eat at this restaurant. I even had my graduation lunch here after I finished university. The atmosphere is clean and beautiful, restaurant is fabulously decorated. The owner is lovely and most of the servers have been there since I can remember; always smiling and on the ball, providing endless water and excellent service. How many times did i drive past this nondescript place,and never realize the amazing food and ambience inside !
Shrimp pakoras and seekh kebab are to die for.We also had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Madras with Garlic Nan Both were excellent.

Best of the Best, Taj hits the spot!! We have take out each time and the delivery is exceptionally fast. Food is packed perfectly and very clean. One bad weather night, we got a craving for Taj food. On this night they were not delivering. I spoke with Karan who always takes care of me! and explained our problem. KARAN ACTUALLY BORROWED A CAR TO DELIVER OUR FOOD!!!! Now, that is above and beyond excellent service!!! The portions are very large plus the food is THE BEST in the city!!!

It is a hole in the wall and everything is served on disposable plates. But OMG! NOM, NOM, NOM. The food was good and reasonably priced. (And really, aren't the best places holes in the wall?) The only quibble was the mango lassi (I've had better) and the hours (which are weird). But other than that - GO!!!! I will be back - a lot.
