My daughter was a student of Maestro Music Centre for many years. We were extremely pleased with our experience with Aleksandra and Oliver. They are extremely talented, well educated and have developed a wonderful rapport with our daughter. Because of their teaching and guidance, she has taken several RCM exams, performed in several concerts and participated in performances at “Music in the Mall”. We have found that Aleksandra and Oliver are very disciplined, yet kind! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!Read more
For years I’ve been offering private lessons for children, seniors, and all ages in between, having started in 1997 at the request of neighbours and friends. The Royal Conservatory of Music has since certified me as a elementary piano specialist and an intermediate clarinet specialist. With experience gained from my own vocal studies, I also help students improve their vocal skills. Assisting students in preparing for RCM theory examinations is another service I offer.
I take a patient approach to musical instruction, letting you set the pace at which you want to learn, using a variety of musical styles (classical and contemporary). When time allows I also like to introduce students to a wide variety of other instruments in my collection, for exploration or study. Learn to play the songs you love! First Lesson Free!
All music begins with one note, which leads to a scale, which leads to a chord, then on to a song. I’ve been playing music my whole life; it’s in my bones. It’s in yours, too. After 25 years of guitar instruction, I have developed an effective teaching method that builds music fundamentals through songs you want to play.
First, the songs to get you up and running. Then we break them down: Root Key – Chords – Melody – Rhythm – Creating a Lead Solo. This method allows you to understand where you’re at in a song, and where you want to go with riffs and soloing.
Do you want to play around the campfire? Rip a solo in front of 10,000 screaming fans? You want to explore new chording, melody and lyric possibilities for song writing? At Mojo, we do it all. We build musicians from the ground up.
