The Maison Internationale de la Rive-Sud is an autonomous community organization. Our mission, since 1975, is to support newcomers and public refugees in their settlement process and in their socio-economic integration. We refer them, if necessary, to partner service organizations. We promote intercultural rapprochement and promote cultural diversity in the territory. We adhere to fundamental values ??such as equality in reception, respect for the client, openness to diversity, political and religious neutrality and altruism. Our organization also promotes the democratic values ??of sharing and engagement in civic life. This position is based on the conviction that the linguistic and cultural diversity of Quebec is a strength and a richness that adds to the human, economic and social capital of newcomers and on which interculturalism is based.
