Didsbury, Alberta derived its name from the Town of Didsbury in Manchester, England.Like many settlements in the early west, Didsbury grew along the tracks of the Canadian Pacific Railway. A frontier-style business street was developed, impressive centres of worship erected., and eventually our own park and bandstand. We take our motto, ''Building a strong future on a solid past'' to heart, and are very proud of our history.
