I have 2 very different kids and both absolutely loved this place. They would go for a month every summer and it was always their favourite. They loved it even before the new air conditioned buses! I would recommend it, the kids have a great time, really grow and gain independence and they have a super swimming program. One of my kids is a picky eater and he never had a problem. Their favourite game was always something called Gaga -a game I had never heard of before but it is apparently a huge deal. My oldest never wanted to leave even though he passed the age level, one of the Directors, Bobby always let him come back because he knew how big a deal it was. To this day this camp is his fondest memory. My daughter cannot wait to be a counsellor there in a few years. Very kind people.Read more

We were looking for a nice spot to enjoy a long weekend of camping and ended up returning numerous times over the summer of 2022. The campground was quite and the new owners are very friendly. Enjoyed the stunning sunsets over the lake and watching the herons catching their daily meals each evening in the shallow waters near the shore. Hiking trail to the point was great and we were able to fish right from the point. Washroom and shower facilities were very clean and well maintained. Read more

Batter Up Baseball loves big leaguer Peter Orr from the Philadelphia Phillies who has come out as both a guest speaker and guest instructor at Batter Up's Winter Program. Mike Irving, Batter Up Baseball's Director, coached Peter when Peter was 16 years old, then later the two played together on the same team with the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball club in the Intercounty League. 'I like Pete as an instructor because he always brings a fun perspective on the game for the kids,' Mike says. 'I like him as a big leaguer because of his versatility -- he can play almost any position. He's an asset because coaches know when they put Pete in, he's going to give it everything he's got.'Mike smiled as he remembered Peter's younger years as a player. 'I was one of the instructors at a baseball camp he attended as a youth--he won player of the week that summer,' Mike says, adding that even though Pete was never a 'big guy', he always stood out because of his work ethic, his hustle, and his determination
