We believe in creativity as an educational tool, one that develops a student’s confidence and problem-solving skills. We teach our students to be imaginative and trust their intuition — there is no right or wrong way to make an artwork. This unique type of experiential learning creates opportunities for self-expression and calculated risk-taking along with the enjoyment of seeing creative efforts lead to tangible results.
We are located in a busy location in Markham Toronto (near warden T&T Supermarket). For students’ convenience, we offer online classes as well.
Develop your eye hand coordination while learning how to draw something from life. You will be guided through the steps required to set up your paper, how and where to start. We will use exercises that help develop drawing what you see and not what your brain has decided an “apple” looks like. You will also be shown various ways to use even simple tools like pencils, conté, pen and ink and more. Learning how to draw properly makes painting so much easier! Supply lists are included. You need your own supplies. An agenda is supplied.
The location and dates for in studio and for online classes are still to be determined. Please contact me if you are interested in a workshop with your organization.
Level: Geared to beginners but all levels can benefit.
Classes are subject to attendance. If we don’t have enough, it will be postponed.
Cost: $260.00 for 4 sessions or $65.00 per session, 48 hours notice is required for drop ins.
