There are two ways to become a Cervélo-supported rider. The first is through our grassroots programs, which are handled by our retailers. After all, they are most knowledgeable about the local scene, and they are best able to serve the sponsored athletes. Please contact your local retailer with any request you may have for sponsorship. The second avenue of sponsorship is through the pro teams we support, Team Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda and teamTBB. These teams have their own recruitment process for athletes and Cervélo is not involved in this process. Please note that we will not respond to any sponsorship requests sent directly to Cervélo.
Motoretta was launched in 2001 by Morey Chaplick and Jeremy Logan. The two were inspired on a trip to Italy when they spotted elegantly dressed Italians riding their scooters through the city. At the time, Scooter Culture had not yet blossomed in Toronto and they saw this as the perfect opportunity to introduce it to the city. Their idea was to create a bright and organized space that would serve a platform to bridge the gap between Scooter Culture and Fashion Lifestyle.
Back in 2001, Yeg Baiocchi was trying to find the perfect gift for her daughter Daniela. She decided on an electric scooter. Unfortunately it seemed very difficult to find one. Finally she ordered one from the US but nobody would ship it to Canada. She then decided that there was a market for these scooters. After a few months of research she imported a container from China and DAYMAK was born (Da-Daniela -Y-Yeg).. Unfortunately it was seized at Canada Customs because it did not meet Transport Canada standards. After that expensive lesson she imported electric bicycles (2002) and got everything pre-approved. The operations started from a 300 sq. foot garage. Due to too many kids knocking at the door after hours operations had to be moved to a store. From 300 sq. foot location we now have a 30,000 feet location (that's 100 times bigger) and we have over 100 dealers!
Great selection and very nice people. I dealt with Domenic and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Bought a Beast last month and have been riding it almost everyday (except the -20 days). Its awesome and have had no problems with it even though I ride it in freezing weather and a couple of times when it was raining. Love it. Thank you Domenic and DaymakRead more

I have dealt with owner, Tom Porco, for over 15 years, bought one motorcycle through him, and had him and staff work on my 750 Yamaha, 450 Honda and 1100 BMW. He has always been fair with cost, excellent with work, reliable, helpful and pleasant. I have referred other riders to him. All are very pleased. I see one multi-posted strong complaint and that is the absolute opposite of all our experiences. Anyone can call me to verify my remarks. Merci. AJW. Read more

If you're unhappy with the BS and crap service at the large motorcycle stealerships, here's an alternative: a small, intimate motorcycle shop. Honest mechanic that will fix your bike right for a reasonable price. Laugh a little while Ted works on your bike. Ask him questions and get honest answers. It's hard to find a trustworthy motorcycle mechanic in Toronto, so now you've found one! If you're adventurous, ask Ted to belch out O Canada. Or ask him to throw a shoe on top of the neighbour's roof.
