Planète Jeux is a games shop founded in 2011 as a result of the shared ambition of brothers Patrick and Dominic Lajeunesse. Before deciding to make their dream a reality, the duo had already worked as a team in executive positions at a furniture company. "We thought: 'We're working for someone else's success, so why not do it for ourselves?'" say the two men, who then turned to their passion: board games.
Planète Jeux was brought to life in a small room of just 900 square feet. As things were going pretty well, Patrick and Dominic moved to larger premises in 2012 and found themselves in their current, 5,000-square-foot space at 8285 Notre-Dame East.
