It is National Hispanic Heritage Month and MCPS schools are celebrating this period with a variety of activities and events. At Brookhaven Elementary School, students sang, danced and played instruments at an assembly that featured special performances by the Luis Garay Percussion World group.
Bus has missed my child two days in a row. The days he does get picked up, the bus arrives at school after the first bell. Driver has been stopped by the police for speeding, and put up an impressive display of disrespect in front of the kids. I'm sure other routes don't have the same issues, but this has been our experience.
