I sent 12 emails out for a request of 10' cedars – 6 say they could not delivery that height, 5 sent me quotes… and only 1 did not replied. I waited another 3 days - so finally I sent another email, pointing this out. The sales person called me to say I was "mean" - I was about to suggest that they were unprofessional - but he cut me off... OK. I guess he made my point. Not sure what happened to customer service but this is not an example of it.

I want to love this place, but it’s impossible. Great selection of plants, shrubs, trees. Convenient location. It’s just that once you’re ready to pay and leave, they won’t let you. Long lineups that don’t move. Poorly trained staff if you do make it to the front of the line. I hope they’re working on fixing this.

Best selection of plants outside the GTA, healthy and fairly priced. I drive over from Kingston every May and look forward to it. Helpful staff too. Highly recommended.

I’m appalled after leaving Connon Nurseries / Connon Nurseries in Trenton today. My wife and I bought some vegetable seeds and the manager followed us out to the parking lot and accused me of stealing! She said she saw me put something in my pocket. When she realized she was wrong, she said sorry, she was just going with her gut. How do you accuse someone of stealing on a guess or gut feeling?? I left very upset, and decided to turn around and go back to return the seeds and get my money back. W

My experience of customer service was that it came from a place of no. Every question or request was either met with a no or a guess. Getting any concrete information was impossible until I complained (something I rarely do). Upper management then made an effort to meet my needs but still only with negotiation. I do not foresee doing business with them in future.
