We went to Wickie’s Pub on Saturday July 30th. We were greeted, our order for drinks and food taken in a timely manner; this is where it went down hill. The waitress came to us an hour after order was take. To inform us that 2 items on menu were not available and we had to reorder; we did. While other patrons sat, ordered and were served their food, we waited. Almost 2 hours and we decided that paying for drinks and cancelling our food, which at the time of paying was still not ready! NO MORE

HORRIBLE!

I witnessed a very ugly situation today that involved the owner of Wickies. I watched the owner as he yelled and screamed and called a lady obscene names because she was taking so long placing her order at Dairy Queen on Yonge St...actually her little toddler daughter couldn't decide. He revved his engine and rammed his red truck into the back of the ladies car 3 times! He then got out of his truck and approached the lady and her child and realized there was a by stander recording the events on her cell phone so he then proceeded to go get back into his truck. By the way, every one was well aware who he was plus his license plates said 'Wickies'. The women then dials 911 and during this time the owner of Wickies quietly drives away. After seeing this type of behavior and how the owner treated a women and a toddler child I will never ever eat or ever recommend Wickies to any one!!

Nacho Heaven

Best nacho's around - the guacamole is the finishing touch!!! Add a batch of wings and your party will be fed and happy. The Friday fish and chips are excellent too!! Staff could do with an upgrade though.

Awesome homemade food!

I have been to Wickie's many many times and love the food! The burgers melt in your mouth, the nacho's are awesome, and the wings are fabulous as is the pub pie. The fish and chips are the best I've ever had. I have made my way through most of the menu and have never been disappointed. The beer selection on tap is very good as well. Great value and very generous portions in an inviting environment :-) Love it!

We walked in and the entire place smelled of old greasy frying food...yuck! The server didn't seem to care if we had a menu, got our food within reasonable time... Was NOT impressed in any way.......

I met up with a bunch of my friends after work...

I met up with a bunch of my friends after work one day at Wickie`s.. and it was awesome! Everyone was friendly, the service was great, and this brownie I ordered was amazing! I definitely am going back there again!

i love wickies. its the greatest pub ever. me and...

i love wickies. its the greatest pub ever. me and my friends always go to wickies. awesome food and amazing service. i love the waitress there. they know our group and what we like to drink. the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. i can hang out with my friends, shoot some pool. and not have to worry about some old man trying to hit on me or stare at my bum. i love wickies and go there on a weekly basis!

Great Wings! Great service.

This pub is always a good time - if you are looking for a pub with friendly staff, lively atmosphere and great food, go here! It's busy every night of the week and there is a nice patio outside. Plus if you are into billiards there is a neat back room with lots of pool tables. Order the wings - best in Barrie.

I go to this place almost every night around 10pm. Why? BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME!!! The staff, the food, the regs, the pool room....I love it all and wouldn't change a thing!!! 10/10!!!!!

I think that out of all the pubs in Barrie...

I think that out of all the pubs in Barrie, Wickies has the best service, food and facilities (pool room, bar and patio). The waitresses are appealing and personable. I give this restaurant a 10/10 in all aspects of the food and beverage industry.

Wickies has great food, the servers are very friendly, and the alcohol is awesome. Never a dull momment when I head down to wickies.. Not to mention the four pool tables in the back along with the dart-boards for your entertainment.

If you want to try something new WICKIES is the...

If you want to try something new WICKIES is the place to be. DEEP FRIED PICKLES. I was dragged there on my birthday and forced to try something I thought I would hate but they are just amazing. The snake bites (breaded white meat chicken with lots of spice) are amazin also just make sure to have a beer in hand to put out the flames. Only complaint was the mozerella sticks, not the sticks themselves but the dipping sauce. Normally battered mozerella sticks are served with a thin marinara sauce but this was very very thick spaghetti sauce that would not even let you dip in. But all in all this was a great experience and have went back twice since for deep fried pickles.

Just moved in around the corner from this pub...

Just moved in around the corner from this pub, went out with my girlfriend and had a great time. Fish and chips were awesome and the service was great. I heard the wings are the best - maybe next time.

The food was standard fare, the wings were the best, the ceaser salad had a bit too much dressing. However, what was the best about this place was the party on the patio. Although it was a bit chilly that evening everone had made it out to the patio to listen to the great music that was being played. They had a DJ playing hits from the 60 and 70's and what great songs they were. The sound was excellent and the selection oh the selection!! I never did find out if this happens every Saturday but I will be going back next week to enjoy it again.

Service was ok, and the food was passable, but the place needs a facelift. Kinda shabby - like a previous review - kinda cheap looking and not much of a pub. They should rename it Wickies Sports Bar and Grill bcause thats what it is.

Food was regular pub food. Service was good also...

Food was regular pub food. Service was good also. Place was dirty, bathrooms were gross. Won't go back for that reason. I can just imagine what the kitchen looks like.
