The owners of SalonFront have, over time, come to recognize the value in employee-owned Salons and have implemented this innovative ownership model. Stylists here have the opportunity to become owners and stakeholders in the success of the salon.
Located in downtown Edmonton, Salon Front has established itself as an innovative place to get a haircut. It’s an open-concept space set under a glass atrium, and the expansive windows provide a full spectrum of natural sunlight. "Everything is done in an open area, so everybody can participate in the conversation as a group," says co-owner Sarah Bunker. "In the middle, we've got a mixing station in a horseshoe design and clients sit around that to get their colour done."
A team of seven hairstylists provide a wide range of services, with an emphasis on colouring and bold haircuts. Customers can also get extensions applied with expert care.
