Honestly, I would never write, but having had had almost the exact same meal as the reviewer who most recently posted, I could not resist from arguing the opposite! The pierogis were amaaaazing! JUICY and DELICATE and FULL of stuffing. And the price? Well, considering there are so many pierogis in one serving, and may I say, HOMEMADE pierogis, I feel that they are more than affordable. This leads me to my next point: the schnitzel. Again, a homemade, VEAL schnitzel- just melted in my mouth.... and even more so in my husband's mouth, considering he ordered it. And, in response to the other reviewer, the schnitzel is surely made of high quality veal! We had the pleasure of talking to the owner about it and she was sweet enough to tell us all the details about what it takes to prepare it. I'm telling you, it's just so difficult to find a great, healthy restaurant with homemade food in Toronto. I would recommend Amber to anyone looking for some good quality ingredients and great taste. i have been going to aris since 1974 and i still go there.the food is great!!...the prices are more then fair for what you order.the owner's are very freindly,and the waitress's are fast and freindly.the atomosphere is very warm,and you feel more then at home there.i stop in for a great cup of coffee everyday,and a great meal and a cold one at least twice or more per week...i look forward to going there when i can...superb food!!!!super owner's!!!!!super staff!!!

I have been going to Sunrise Grill and Crepe for many years. It's the best breakfast restaurant out there. AMAZING food, great atmosphere, great staff and all at a reasonable price. The chef is truly a culinary artist when it comes to breakfast/brunch food. I recommend this place to everyone.

I took my son to Swiss Chalet two weeks ago for a chicken dinner (1/4 with fries). Consistently good. The waitress was attentive, and knew how to keep the baby at the table next door happy (crackers, crayons, drinks... STAT!). When my wife and I went out for dinner the next week, where did my son go? Swiss Chalet. He is somewhat of a picky eater... So, great review.

We love Swiss Chalet, especially this location and have been going for years, it's the closest to homemade, it's fast service and the prices are great! The staff at this location are amazing people and always quick to serve you and get you what you want. I can't say enough about this location, it's all good in every way. Always greeted with a smile. We will continue going to this Swiss Chalet because I haven't found one like it, even though they are all from the same chain, they are still different. Keep up the great work.....
