Johnson Industries Ltd. was incorporated on April 27th of 1966. Our first corporate office and factory were established at Richmond, B.C. Canada, in the year 1974. In 1993 Johnson Industries purchased the British brake company 'Elevanja'. The Elevanja company has been designing and manufacturing electric brakes since 1915, and the acquisition has made the Johnson brake line very versatile. In 1997 Johnson Industries opened up a second office in Toronto Canada to serve our eastern clients. As of October 25th 2005 we have moved to our new state of the art manufacturing facility in Delta B.C. Canada.Johnson designs and manufactures a range of products in house including hydraulic, pneumatic, spring-set or manually applied caliper disc brakes and brake systems for use on hoists, conveyers, propulsion systems and other rotating equipment.
