Central Conservatory of Music is located in Lagoon City Brechin. We strive to keep music alive in this community through education, commitment and participation. We promote music education as an asset to our lives and future. We have been in the business for 45 years and our owner, Barry, is three time past president of the American Guild of Music, and a lifetime honour member. Music has many positive effects for emotional and intellectual growth, and it provides a sense of pride and accomplishment. In addition, music education contributes to self-confidence, problem solving skills, memory and concentration, goal setting and holistic healing, among many other things. Taking music lessons is associated positively with intelligence and with academic abilities while providing an outlet for emotional and mental health. Let us help you experience the joy of music! We teach it all - private singing lessons/vocal lessons, piano lessons, guitar lessons, ukulele lessons and bass lessons. We believe learning music should be fun. We can show you effective techniques and methods to help you improve your musical skills. Our students range in age from 6 years old to age 72. It is never to late to start. We offer exciting performance opportunities and have some fun jam sessions you can participate in. Covid Safe. We also offer conservatory prep in guitar and piano. We teach all styles of music from classical to jazz, folk, funk and pop. We encourage you to learn the style of music that you enjoy the most.
