Mother’s Day brunch 2016 in Calgary

Aspen Crossing Tree Farm & Garden Centre
A short country drive southeast of Calgary, Aspen Crossing Tree Farm and Garden Centre also features campsites, a gift shop and a Mother’s Day weekend buffet brunch in its stationary, antique Canadian Pacific dining-car eatery. Eats include pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs Benedict, chicken, ribs and pasta. Adults, $17. Seatings: May 7 and 8, 9 am to 3 pm. This is also home base for the round-trip Aspen Crossing Railway train tour. Its onboard champagne brunch is available Sundays starting May 8. Adults, $106; kids, $50, two years and under, free. Excursions run 11 am to 2 pm.
