We’ve rounded up a few of the best places on Granville Island to grab a cold one. [Photo courtesy of Tourism Vancouver/Nelson Mouellic]

Granville Island Brewing

1441 Cartwright St, Vancouver, BC V6H 3R7

As Canada’s first microbrewery, Granville Island Brewing has brought local brews to thirsty Vancouverites (and beyond) since 1984. Located on Cartwright Street and across the street from the famous Kids Market, this brewery is a Granville Island icon. Visit the tap room to taste their original lager or to sip on their latest small-batch beers. Or, if you have some more time to spare, book a tour for a sampling of three tasters and a behind the scenes experience.
