Come enjoy a savory creation at Kaz's Pub. Come relax at the bar with a refreshment. They are open after-hours all week and are conveniently accessible by car but also by public transit. The neighboring location is remarkable for its merchants and restaurants.
I had an unfortunite accident at Kazs. I been in a wheelchairs for years and l was having great difficultly getting thru there entrance. I accidently put my foot thru the glass plate. Opps total accident. l am sorry!. The staff were physically stopping me from leaving demanding that l give them money. Thats a first a bar staff demanding l stay. I just reffered the business to a lawyer. The situation could have been handled in a much more professional manner. Threatening me come on. Sorry.
The only reason I'm giving Kaz's 1 star is because the food was OK. My friends and I had a horrible experience tonight. During conversation, one of our friends put his head on the table for a few seconds because he was laughing. A minute later, a bouncer comes up to us and asks us to leave because someone told him our friend was "sleeping on the table" and that "violated their policy". Our friend was clearly awake and talking with us and the bouncer. When we tried to explain this, the bouncer clarified that he wasn't asking us to leave because he thought we had too much to drink, but because we'd violated their policy (I assume by laughing, head down on arms???).
This is absolutely rediculous. The way we were treated, even after explaining that our friend was laughing with his head on his arms on the table, was appalling. As a group of 7-12 people who spend $200-$350 as a whole group when we go out, Kaz's has lost our business for good. Be warned, they have zero tolerance and will stand by mundane policies.
You'd be much better off going to The Beach, Merchant, or The Office. The food was good, but not worth going back for. We'll find a better place from now on.
I have read all the reviews about this place. I went there few weeks ago ,it has nice outdoor patio, good draught selection and small vegan menu!! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable . I have never meet the owners, but the place is OK. We have had very good time and for sure we will go back to Kaz's. Their vegan nachos are delicious and they have Keith's Cider on tap!!!
I was at Kaz's on Christmas Day night with friends. While there, a beer was spilt, by accident, on the pool table. 20-30 minutes later everyone in our group of friends is being thrown out because "you were standing with him" (the one who's beer was spilt). i was sober as were many of us and no one was out of control. It was completely inappropriate, we were treated horribly, and when asked why we were being thrown out for this, the bouncer said "he's the owner so you have to leave". I can honestly say I will never return to this bar and I will ensure to tell everyone I know not to go there.
Not worth visiting. The place is dead, the drinks are overcharged and watered down and the owner is rude with his workers aswell as the customers.
I went there yesterday for the first time and tried to buy a drink, this guy started yelling at me and pushed me; I didn't understand why. I thought he was just a drug-addict looser trying to start a fight, so I complained to the waitress: she said "sorry, that is the owner" as soon as he noticed I was complaining about his behaviour, he kicked me out of the bar. I waited outside for my friends to notice without a jacket or cellphone in the freezing cold night of halloween. There were 5 more people outside in the same situation.
My experience at that bar: don't go, you will have a bad time.
(I still don't get why he was so mad at me!)
Honestly I used to love this place. I would eat and party there and nothing would ever steer me wrong, Don;t get me wrong the bar staff is excellent, very friendly and fast but the security staff is terrible. I was with a friend and our group for his birthday, we were thrown out for using the bathroom, honestly the bouncer working that night(the guy with the pony tail) has a bad attitude and needs to chill out a little bit. I am an upstanding citizen who doesnt deserve to be treated like a child. this bouncer should be fired from an otherwise awesome business.
The best nachos in the City. Staff is so friendly. The Bartender - Kelly was her name was the best - very pleasant and a very pretty girl. We will be back for sure.

Its a great place to grab a booth with a few friends,shoot a game of pool or play darts.They have a great juke box selection and friendly staff.They had a t-shirt giveaway when i was there!
