Gluten Free Lovers Take Note

When I return to my hometown of Ottawa I head immediately to Caffé Mio! There are few restaurants in Ottawa that understand this disease fully but Robert has FANTASTIC gluten-free pasta available and staff are fully aware of the do's and don'ts for us. Last evening I had a meal of Caprese Salad - dressing perfect, not cloying; Pasta Beata (chicken, artichoke, peppers and a white wine dijon cream sauce - DIVINE!) followed by fig and port tartufo. Atmosphere is wonderful and the staff super-friendly. This is a MUST GO!

We moved into the Westboro/Wellington village...

We moved into the Westboro/Wellington village area almost a year ago and for the first couple of months we would walk by Caffe Mio saying we'll have to go there one day and give it a try. Well, last fall we finally went and have been going there about once a week ever since. If you like great food, great atmosphere and great service then this is the place for you. Everything is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is always friendly. We bring all our friends here and recommend it to everyone.
