    First visit, voucher in hand...

Hi, I visited this place early on a quiet Sunday afternoon in December with a friend, and a $45 voucher. Even though I had waited over a year before using it (no expiry date), the staff were very warm & gracious. They feature an overwhelming variety of food, so I asked the server about what she suggested, based on my specific preferences. Her suggestion was perfect for my taste. The portions were very generous (enormous amount of food for only $9 - $11). It was brought to us quickly and it was hot, fresh & delicious. Two of us had $45 to use, & since our first round was only $23 (for both) we went home with a complete second round "to-go". This will be 1 of the VERY FEW places that I have tried for the FIRST time on a voucher, & will be HAPPY to return. Good work China Village. Expect us back!

    Great little Chinese place!

Got the dealfind voucher & was really pleased (wish I bought more!). The waitress was very friendly & helpful. I know the portions are smaller for the deal but you still get a lot of food! Extensive menu with lots to choose from. The spring rolls & wontons were good, crispy, and the homemade plum sauce was great! Honey garlic chicken sauce was nice & light but very tasty. Beef lo mein was also good. All hot & fresh. Only complaint was the "Chinese greens" - they were not green at ALL, literally looked like the ends of the stuff they used for everything else. We complained but they said those were right & the actual greens were the mixed veggies. Remember the voucher doesn't cover tax, they add tip to bill before and you must pay remainder in cash. So if you use the whole $45 you'll still be paying about $15 in cash. Would still go back for sure, now that we know about this place!

    disappointing

If you got the voucher on dealfind, don't get your hopes high, the portions are cut.... they ask you to present the voucher before you order.... you get the idea. The tea refill was water refill...they made the tea and kept refilling it with water. The girls serving are genuinely nice....however everything else failed to impress....the food was dry, appetizers were not flavorful....we wanted chinese broccoli with garlic, but they ran out... :(
