PERi-PERi, also known as the African Bird's Eye Chili, is the key to our legendary, South African flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken. We mix PERi-PERi with salt, garlic, lemon, onion, oil, and vinegar to make our signature sauce. Then we marinate our chicken in it for 24 hours. You choose the heat!
Food taste: excelent.
Everything else: terrible.
Time: had to wait 40 minutes during off peak hours.
Portions: tiny! The 2 of us got what it said was for 3-4 people thinking to take the leftovers for later...finished everything. And Im a light eater!! Good thing they said "here are your large sides" when they brought the food, or we would have thought they served the small ones by mistake. I wonder what the small ones look like if these were large...
Tips+price: have to payed BEFORE you get anything, when you order. If we knew, we wouldn't leave much.
