Not many people know the hair salon and spa business better than the owner of Hair Society & Spa, Natalie Petrovich. Having worked as a hair stylist across the country since the late-1980s, Natalie has seen it all. She’s taken part in competitions, styled hair for fashion and television shows, and was even employed by legendary champion hairstylist Marc Anthony in Toronto.

So when Natalie took the plunge and opened Hair Society & Spa in July 2013, it felt like the natural next step. “I’ve done everything else in the industry so opening up a place on my own was my final challenge to face,” Natalie says. “Having a business is difficult. It has its challenges, but it’s rewarding at the end of the day when I can sit back and say, 'Wow, look at what I’ve created'.”
